Do I need a car?

Yes, indeed you will. The Catskills are vast and the road to our house is rough. You can either drive here or take a train to Hudson. (From Hudson Station car rentals are available through Enterprise).

Do you have AC?

Yes, we have central air conditioning. We also have a wood-burning fireplace. Cool or warm - it’s up to you.

What amenities do you have?

Sorry, but it’s a pretty big list. We are pet-friendly (crates, treats, fenced in area, etc), offer a fully-equipped kitchen, fast wifi, work-from-home areas, Nest speakers, smart television (55” Samsung Frame) with streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, central air conditioning, dishwasher, wood-burning fireplace, hair dryers, tea, gourmet craft coffee makers (French press and Turkish style), washer/dryer, plenty of parking, a bunch of games, covered deck and porch with furniture to hang out, and more. What are The Compass House policies?

We want you to enjoy our home and property. As such, we have created some guidelines and policies for guests. This ensures our house continues to be a place people want to visit. We actually live in this home when we aren’t renting it, so it is stocked with many items, including food provisions / perishables. We are happy to share it, but kindly ask guests to replace items they use (milk, cereal, flour, sugar, etc). Link to policies.
